MEETING WITH CHAIRMAN OF TEHRAN CHAMBER OF COMMERCE, INDUSTRIES MINES AND AGRICULTURE. Mr. Masoud Khansaari

H.E Ambassador Alie Badara Kamara had a fruitful meeting with Mr.Masoud Khansaari, Chairman of the Tehran Chamber of Commerce and Industries, Mines and Agriculture in the office of the Chairman. The meeting was held in a cordial and friendly environment. 

During the meeting, both discussed the ways and means to enhance trade relations between Tehran and Sierra Leone. In the areas of Agriculture, Mines and Tourism. 

MEETING WITH NEWLY ELECTED PRESIDENT OF IRAN CHAMBER OF COMMERCE, INDUSTRIES MINES AND AGRICULTURE. MR. GHOLAN HOSSEIN SHAFEI 

H.E Ambassador Alie Badara Kamara urged Iran Investors to participate in the construction of Infrastructure, Tourism, Mines, Marine Resources, Agriculture and Energy. We are looking forward to Iran on more business opportunities between the two countries, by starting and exchange of trade delegation between the two countries. 

MEETING WITH THE PRINCIPAL OF AL-MUSTAPHA UNIVERSITY INQOM (QOM is the home town of the late Spiritual leader Imam Ayatoullah Khomeini and also Masjid Alharam the grave of the granddaughter of the Prophet-SAW)

The Principal Dr.Alie Abasie, AL-MUSTAPHA INTERNATINAL University has promised to extend his university in the Regional Head Quarter Towns in Sierra Leone and promise to provide more Scholarship opportunities for Sierra Leoneans, as he is very impressed with the leadership of President Julius Maada Bio in transforming the Educational Sectors in the country. The principal also promised to visit Sierra Leone in three-month time, to meet with the educational Sectors in Sierra Leone. 

MEETING WITH A CROSS SECTION OF THE SIERRA LEONEAN STUDENTS IN QOM -IRAN

H.E Ambassador Alie Badara Kamara meets with a cross section of Sierra Leone Students in QOM, where he held a successful meeting with the Students. I am here to represent you all as Sierra Leoneans, and wherever I know my people are living within Iran; I will go there to visit them and to know more about them and advised the Sierra Leonean students to be law abiding and be peaceful. My coming here is to bring unity among you all, and my doors are always open for you all as my appointment in Iran as Ambassador signifies a new Era for all Sierra Leonean in Iran. Qom has a total of 24 Sierra Leonean students that has benefited from the scholarship together with their families.  

Gynecologist surgeon (Dr.Lila Asghari)

I have identify a gynecologist who is interested to work in Sierra Leone health sector whose Curriculum Vitae has being forward to the Ministry of foreign affairs and International cooperation for onward transmission to Ministry of Health for processing. Dr. Lila Asghari is a leading expert in obstetrics and gynecology. She holds numerous professional qualifications at the Tehran University of medicine and health care. She is truly deserving of this honor and I respectfully request your strong consideration of her candidacy for this prestigious recognition.

January 20, 2020
Meeting with Moshanir Engineering Company for a fruitful deliberation with the management, we discussed a possible investment opportunity in the areas of electricity, Agriculture, Infrastructure, railways and Fisheries. The meeting was held at the company headquarter in Tehran.

January 22, 2020 
I had a follow up meeting with the Director of Foreign Affairs for Africa in Iran-Tehran concerning the medical report of the late Head of Chancery, Mr. Francis Edwards Kandeh, who passed away on the 26th October, 2019 to do a further investigation to the death of the late man, which the medical report presented by the pathologist showed that he died of poisonous substance. I further appraise him on the situation of eight Sierra Leoneans are detained in camp for almost eight months now in Varamine camp, south of Tehran.  

23 January 2020 
Meeting with the South Fars Power Generation Management Company to make a follow up on the MOU signed by Sierra Leone Government and their company, to undertake urban and rural electrification project and also build 50 schools and 25 clinics across the country. 

27 January 2020
I joined other Colleagues Diplomats to attend a conference organized by UNESCO in Tehran, on the theme safeguarding the Heritage Nations: Common Heritage of Humanity. (National Archives of Iran). 

28 January 2020 
Meeting with the Director of Protocol at the Ministry of foreign affairs in Tehran-Iran to inform him on the arrest of Sierra Leonean and requesting to pay a visit to them in camp. 

5 February 2020 
African group meeting; a cross section of all African heads of missions in Tehran-Iran held a meeting to discuss relevant matters pertaining issues like the future of JCPOA amidst the tension between Iran and USA, Situation of the Iranian Economy, Africa day celebration in Tehran and the public health emergency on global pandemic Corona virus. 

10 February 2020 
Ambassadors where invited by President Hassan Rouhani to commemorate the 41 Anniversary of Iranian Revolution Day in Tehran-Iran. 

May 20, 2020 
I held a meeting with the Iranian International Red Crescent to do a follow up regarding the request we made for the medical equipment’s towards the fight against COVID-19 in Sierra Leone, and the meeting was successful..

June 1, 2020 
Imam Khomeini Relief Foundation. I held a meeting with Imam relied foundation regarding the request we made for the medical equipment’s towards the fight against COVID-19 in Sierra Leone, the meeting was successful. 

June 2, 2020 
I held a Meeting with Deputy Director of Health Treatment and Empowerment for Red Crescent Dr Moradian, to do a follow up with the meeting we previously had meeting with the Iranian International Red Crescent regarding the request we made for the medical equipment’s towards the fight against COVID-19 in Sierra Leone.

June 15, 2020
I signed an MOU of Diplomatic relations with the Ambassador of Turkmenistan H.E Ambassador Ahmet Gurbanov Ambassador of Turkmenistan for the establishment of bilateral relations between the two countries. 

September to November 2020 
My office has help in facilitating the repatriation of over one hundred and eighty –seven (187) Sierra Leonean in Lebanon and two Sierra Leonean in Iraq (2). 

September 18 2020 
I Signed a book of condolence at the Mali Embassy for the late Mali former President Moussa Traore at the Embassy of Mali in Tehran.

September 21 2020 
The ambassador of Iran in Sierra Leone pay a courtesy at the chancery office in Tehran/Iran. We held a fruitful discussion to strengthen the bilateral relationship between the two countries.

October 1 2020 
I signed a book of condolence at the Kuwait Embassy in Tehran/Iran for the late Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Sabah Al Jaber Al Sabah. 

October 26 2020 

I received PPEs items donated by Red Crescent towards the fight against COVID19 for the people of Sierra Leone, that I have requested.

October 27 2020 
I made a courtesy call on the Iraq Ambassador in Tehran, we held a fruitful deliberation on strengthening the bilateral relations between the two countries.

I Signed a book of condolence at the Mali Embassy for the passing away of the late former Mali President General Amadou Toumani Turay.

I Signed an Online Portal Platform book of condolence, for the passing away of the late former Ghana President H.E LT. Jerry Rawlings, who passed away on Thursday 12 November 2020.

PRESENTATION OF CREDENTIALS TO THE MINISTER OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS IN LEBANON 
I presented a copy of my Letter of credence to the minister of foreign affairs in Lebanon.

PRESENTATION OF CREDENTIALS TO THE PRESIDENT OF LEBANON 
On Wednesday December 9th 2020, I presented my credentials to the President of the Lebanon Michel Aoun at the presidential palace in Beirut. President Aoun was pleased and delighted to receive me at his palace and said his country is very committed to the bilateral relations with Sierra Leone.

1. MEETING WITH THE SPEAKER OF PARLIAMENT 
I held a fruitful deliberation with the speaker of Lebanon, in which we discuss on strengthen our bilateral cooperation between Lebanon and Sierra Leone.

2. MEETING WITH THE HEAD OF THE NATIONAL STATE SECURITY 
I and General Abbas Ibrahim Directorate of General Security held a deliberation on security of Sierra Leonean in Lebanon, on how best we can cooperate with one another to combat illegal traveling of Sierra Leoneans to Lebanon, which has results to the stranding of Sierra Leonean in Lebanon.

3. MEETING WITH THE MINISTER OF INTERIOR AND SECURITY 
During my Stay in Lebanon I also held meeting with the minister of interior and Security on bilateral cooperation between the two countries.  

4. OPENING OF THE NEW CONSULATE OFFICE IN LEBANON

I officially opened the country’s consulate in Lebanon, which is one of the countries I am accredited to in the Middle east. In my open statement, I emphasized that the newly established consular office will serve as the official administrative building of the government of Sierra Leone in the capital city of Lebanon, =Beirut and the office will assist and protect the citizens of Sierra Leone and help coordinate trade and friendship between the two countries.
